Open Source Machine Building Workshop
In a collaborative setting, we will build powerful machine tools with which you can make almost anything.

22nd – 25th March 2023
Take part in the machine building workshop of the research project PISWI 2, Places of Incubation.
In this workshop we bring together students, makers, researchers and enterprises!
Learn about the advantages of Open Source Hardware and rapid prototyping!
Become a maker yourself and get your hands on open low-cost digital manufacturing machines!
In this workshop you can develop your technological skills, meet makers and work in a diverse international team.
You will be advised and coached by experienced experts.
Within four days we will build three different machine types:

3d printer
-
CNC milling machine
-
Laser cutter
If you are interested in electronics, fabrication, programming, robotics or related fields you are welcome to join.
Please, be aware that this is an active workshop! Please, only register, if you are really motivated and available during the entire time (including Saturday). If this is the case, please send us your application. The workshop is limited to 50 participants, so be quick and register through the following link.
Conditions:
Meals and beverages are not included. At ENIT is a campus restaurant available and other possibilities to eat. A few selected students may receive reimbursement for travel and accommodation expenses upon submission of invoices. An application must be made for this purpose.
